Su·shi (soo-shee) noun. A Japanese dish of vinegared, white rice, formed into bite-sized pieces and garnished with various other ingredients, such as raw or cooked fish, seafood, meat, egg and vegetables.

Matsuri (Mat-su-ree) Japanese transl. noun. A feast, festival 

Throwing aside the mystique that surrounds this Japanese delicacy, we'll show you how to make your own beautifully presented sushi while experimenting with the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients available.

During the event you'll be given a helping hand to perfect your sushi rolling technique, participate in teams to design your own sushi, enjoy a Japanese-style feast, and receive an introduction to the world of sake. Everybody will go home with their own sushi-rolling mat, step-by-step recipes, ingredient-sourcing guides and more importantly, their new found sushi making skills.
